This two-day heights safety course enables students to select, inspect and correctly use height safety equipment for work at heights. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the rescue plan to be activated in the event of a fall. Identify anchor points and prepare to install a temporary proprietary height safety system; Install horizontal and vertical temporary proprietary height safety systems. Use temporary proprietary height safety systems and disestablish temporary proprietary height safety systems.
This equivalence course covers the same material to the same standard as Unit Standard 15757: Use, install and disestablish temporary proprietary height safety systems when working at height, and Unit Standard 23229: Use safety harness system when working at height, but no units are awarded.
